QA1 Hosts Over 100 Cars for Annual Open House & Cruise Event

July 29, 2015

On Friday, July 17, QA1 welcomed over 100 cars and 200 people to its Lakeville, MN facility for its 4th annual Open House and Cruise. The QA1 grounds were covered with Mustangs, Camaros, Firebirds, Corvettes, S-10 pickups and everything in between.

The sounds of classic rock music and the rumble of muscle cars could be heard as crowds of car enthusiasts gathered to show off their cars, tour QA1's manufacturing facilities and enjoy donuts and coffee. Participants gained an inside look at daily operations and watched as shocks were built, driveshafts were wound and suspension components were cut and welded.

“For many people, the Open House has become a tradition that they look forward to each year,” said Melissa Scoles, QA1 President. “Attendees appreciate seeing our manufacturing processes in action and getting to learn more about our company as a whole. It’s fun to start the day with a smaller, more intimate car show before cruising to the fairgrounds for the Street Machine Nationals.”

Visitors also had the chance to win prizes from Optima Batteries, JEGS Racing and Summit Racing Equipment. Steve Mode of Farmington, MN was the lucky winner of the grand prize of four QA1 double adjustable Stocker Star shocks.

The gathering of 100+ cars then cruised to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, where participants gained VIP preferred entrance to Street Machine Nationals, a national car show that brought together more than 7,000 high-performance cars and 50,000 spectators.
