QA1 Announces New NHRA Contingency Program

February 24, 2017

QA1 is proud to partner with the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) to offer contingency awards for racers in several NHRA racing series. The program will award top performers using QA1 shocks/struts or a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft.

This is the first year that QA1 is a contingency sponsor for NHRA, the largest auto racing organization in the world. With over 60,000 members competing at over 120 member tracks, NHRA provides countless opportunities for hot rodders to prove their worth on the track. “QA1 is committed to helping racers compete at the highest level, and NHRA highlights the best of the best,” says Dave Goldie, QA1 Street Performance and Racing Product Manager. “We’re excited to partner with them to support racers who compete across the country.”

To be eligible for contingency, racers participating in each series need to be running QA1 shocks/struts purchased in the past five years or a QA1 carbon fiber driveshaft, have QA1 decals displayed on their vehicle and have a W9 form on file. For each program, QA1 is awarding cash prizes in values ranging from $50 to $500 for the runners up and winners in each participating class:

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Contingency Classes – $300 Win/$100 R/U

QA1’s growing composite division has proven to be an industry leader with its REV™ Series carbon fiber driveshafts, which are wound in-house using a resin designed specifically for racing and builds strength and surface protection right into the tube.
