2nd Shift Quality Inspector - Sign On Bonus
Executes all aspects of quality control by performing the following duties. Position is 2nd shift working Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm - 1:30 am.
$2,500 Sign on bonus*
*Paid out $1,000 at 90 days, $1,500 at 180 days
Duties and Responsibilities
• Inspects and dispositions purchased and manufactured products.
• Reports any non-conformances to the Quality Manager and/or Quality Engineer.
• Reads and understands engineering drawings and prints.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED
• One-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Organizational skills
• Excellent time management
• Oral and written communication skills
Preferred experience with the following equipment:
• Metal testing
• Optical comparator
• Coordinate measuring machine
• Hardness tester
• Tensile strength tester
• Dial indicators
• Height gage
• Spring rate tester
• Faro arm
• Tape measure

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures such as, fraction to decimal conversion, inch to metric conversion, hole position, tapers, angles, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, geometry, and GD&T.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet software, inventory software and email. Experience with CAD software is helpful.
