CNC Set-Up Machinist - 2nd Shift
Summary: Set-up and operate CNC lathes, mills and multi-task machining centers (Haas, Mazak, DMG Mori, and Nakamura). Machine prototypes and collaborate with engineering to determine cost effective methods of production on new parts. Ability to change tooling and make needed adjustments.
We are seeking a CNC Set-Up Machinist for 2nd Shift who has experience in machine operations, inspections and set up on CNC machining centers.
Starting Pay: Based on experience
- Ability to change tooling & make needed adjustments.
- Understand shop math.
- Read and interpret blueprints (GD&T).
- Inspection of parts.
- Fills out production paperwork and inspection procedures.
- Maintains production completion logs.
- Performs regular daily maintenance on equipment, tools, and gages and keeps work area in a clean, orderly, and safe manner.
- Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
- 1-3+ years' experience with lathe & mills
- Material handling
- Proficient with all types of measuring equipment and devices
- Use of hand tools for deburring
