New QA1 Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits

Lakeville, MN [January 19, 2012] – QA1 is excited to introduce its all new bolt-in Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits for Ford Mustangs and GM A-Body and F-Body vehicles. QA1 has been the market leader in front coil-over conversion systems for years with its highly popular adjustable struts and the addition of the Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kit allows for a complete suspension makeover for both ends of the vehicle.

Available for 1979-2004 Mustangs, 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles and 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, the Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits include specially designed U.S.A. made mounting brackets and shocks specific to these platforms and are available with either single or double adjustable aluminum shocks. Single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment while QA1’s double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks also utilize a fully threaded body allowing for ride height adjustability. Multiple spring rate options are also available, and have been successfully tested in various applications, from casual street driving to hard core race applications.

QA1 Acquires Edelbrock’s Suspension Line

Lakeville, MN [August 22, 2011] – QA1 is pleased to announce the acquisition of Edelbrock’s line of suspension products, including: anti-hop bars, k-member braces, panhard rods, strut tower braces, sub-frame connectors, sway bars, toe links, torque and trailing arms, along with a variety of other products. QA1 Acquires CAP Auto Products

Lakeville, MN [August 1, 2011] – QA1 is excited to announce the acquisition of CAP Auto Products, a designer and manufacturer of tubular suspension components for the Mopar community. CAP’s founder, Ray Costello, has a history in the Mopar community as a long time enthusiast and drag racer in Chrysler Mo-Power events. Over the past 8 years, Ray has developed an extensive line of tubular suspension components specific to Mopars and QA1 is proud to introduce these products to its dealer network and retail customers.

The upper and lower control arms, k frames, dynamic strut bars and tie rod adjusters from CAP’s line, coupled with QA1’s selection of shock absorbers, provides Mopar enthusiasts with the suspension they’re looking for.

QA1 Purchases New Manufacturing Facility

Lakeville, MN [July 25, 2011] – QA1, the leading manufacturer of performance shock absorbers and rod ends to the automotive aftermarket industry, is pleased to announce that it has recently purchased a new building to expand its manufacturing operations. Located next door to QA1’s existing facility, the new building adds approximately 11,000 square feet of manufacturing space.

QA1 will be updating the new building and remodeling its existing facility to create more efficiencies in its manufacturing and assembly processes. To allow customers to see these updates, QA1 will be posting images of the progress on its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/QA1Motorsports.
