QA1 Offers Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits for 78-88 GM G-Bodies

November 24, 2014

QA1 is excited to add a bolt-in rear coil-over conversion kit for 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles, including Monte Carlo, Regal and El Camino, to its line of Pro Coil Systems.

The Rear Pro Coil Systems for GM G-bodies include specially designed mounting brackets, single or double adjustable aluminum shocks, springs and all necessary hardware. The single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment while QA1’s double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks also have a threaded body allowing for ride height adjustability from stock to -1.5 inches. Multiple spring rate options are also available to choose from for casual street driving to hard core race applications.

“This USA-made coil-over kit is going to be great for drivers looking to improve their Monte Carlos, Grand Nationals, Regals or Cutlasses,” says Damien Brase, QA1 Fitment Technician. “Now you can upgrade your whole chassis with QA1 coil-over shocks, as well as with a variety of tubular components.”

QA1 currently offers rear Pro Coil Systems for 1979-2004 Mustangs, 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles and 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, which were released in 2013 and have proven very popular. They retail for $675 for single adjustable shocks and $875 for double adjustable shocks.
