Looking for a suspension upgrade for your Chevelle, Malibu, Cutlass or other A-Body? QA1 is excited to add bolt-in rear Pro Coil Systems for 1973-1977 GM A-Body vehicles, which complement our trusted front Pro Coil Systems, so you can upgrade all four corners.

QA1 rear Pro Coil Systems are completely bolt-in, so there is no cutting or welding necessary for installation. They include single or double adjustable aluminum shocks, high travel springs and all of the necessary mounting hardware. The single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment, while QA1’s double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of independent compression adjustment and 18 positions of independent rebound adjustment for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks have a threaded body that allows for ride height adjustability from stock to -1.5 inches.

Specially designed for QA1's Pro Coil Systems, the American-made lightweight high travel springs have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter, resulting in increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils. They reduce unsprung weight and react faster, optimizing suspension performance. Multiple spring rate options are available to choose from for casual street driving to hardcore racing.

QA1’s rear Pro Coil Systems are also available for 1979-2004 Mustangs, 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles, 1982-2002 GM F-Body vehicles and 1978-1988 GM G-Body vehicles. All aluminum QA1 shocks are manufactured in QA1’s Lakeville, Minnesota facility, are 100% dyno tested and serialized and are rebuildable and serviceable by QA1 Authorized Service Centers.
