QA1 Announces 2015 Sponsorship of USMTS and USRA

December 5, 2014

QA1 has announced that it will be a contingency sponsor of the United States Modified Touring Series (USMTS) and the United States Racing Association (USRA) for 2015.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be teamed up with USMTS and USRA for 2015,” says Marshall Fegers, QA1 Circle Track Product Manager. “Todd Staley and Ryne Staley run two of the most professional series in the country. We’re proud to be involved with both series and look forward to supporting the drivers.”

QA1 sponsored USRA for the first time in 2014, providing contingency certificates to the top 5 national points earners in Modified, Stock Car, B-Mod and Hobby Stock divisions. These awards will once again be given to the USRA divisions in 2015, with certificate amounts of $300, $200, $175, $150 and $100.

QA1 is now expanding the sponsorship to support USMTS, a touring series specifically for Dirt Modifieds. The QA1 contingency award for USMTS will be given to the driver who has the fastest lap time of each race night. The award, a certificate for $50 off QA1 product, will be open to all competitors throughout each qualifying heat, consolation race and feature. In the event that a track does not have a transponder scoring loop, the award will be given to the driver who leads the most laps in the feature event.

Overall, the sponsorships will provide awards to nearly 100 racers at nearly 50 venues throughout 2015.

USMTS is one of the fastest-growing and most popular open-wheel Dirt Modified touring series in the world and attracts some of the most talented and professional drivers in North America. Nearly 1,000 drivers participate in the nearly 80 events included in the series. USRA, which sanctions Stock Cars, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks as well as Dirt Modifieds, was formed with a mission of fostering increased driver participation through cost-effective rules. Several thousand drivers compete at USRA-sanctioned events each year at some of the finest speedways in America.
